New National Personal Financial Education Standards

Webinar Date: January 26, 2022

Description: For years there have been two sets of national standards for personal finance — one from the national Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy and the other from the Council for Economic Education. The two organizations joined forces recently to create a single set of standards. In this session, the coordinator of the Making Cents Project, Hilary Hunt, will discuss the new standards and an initial crosswalk of the new standards and Pennsylvania’s Academic Standards in Economics, Family and Consumer Sciences; Career, Education, and Work; and Business, and Computer, and Information Technology. Connections between other national standards will also be addressed. This webinar is designed for K-12 educators and administrators.

Presenter: Hilary Hunt, Making Cents PA Project Director
