SUMMER: Time to Recharge Your Batteries, Reflect on the Past Year, and Gear Up for Fall

Summer is a great time to catch up and do some personalized professional development. As you reflect on the past school year and look ahead to the next one, here are a few ideas to get you started:
  • Recharge Your Batteries: Take time for yourself – including your own personal finances. When was the last time you requested your credit report or talked finances with a family member?
  • Reflect on the Past Year: Have you reviewed your course, lessons, or units against the state standards in financial literacy recently? Use the Model Personal Finance Curriculum as a starting point.
  • Gear Up for Fall: Summer is a great time to explore resources you can use next year.
We’ve put together this fun – and informative – Summer Fin Lit Bingo to help get you started. Download the PDF here. You can print a copy, but note that many of the squares are hyperlinked to the resources mentioned.
How many squares can you complete? Share your thoughts with us via email [hilary (at) makingcentspa (dot) org] or on social media: @MakingCentsPA on Twitter or Facebook.
